Ooh là là, Paris, the city of love, Yves Saint Laurent, cobblestones and Cafe de flore. It’s almost impossible to walk anywhere in Paris without finding a small little cafe to sit and enjoy all the city has to offer. After a month spent in the city of love I wanted to put together some of my favourite places I would walk to just to spend an afternoon doing nothing but taking in the historical Parisian lifestyle. Not to mention all of these places are facing some of the most spectacular monuments.

Cafe De Flore

I’m sure you’ve read about this place in your history books but I’m going to take a wild guess and say you’ve likely seen it through the countless scrolling on Instagram. A bloggers favourite photo back-drop while visiting Paris. Before  that Cafe De Flore welcomed it’s door to regulars such as Pablo Picasso, Jean Paul Sartre, Albert Camus, and of course Simone de Beauvoir; a novelist, social theorist, and feminist who wrote the book “Second sex” during the Second Wave Movement  A.K.A the reason I wanted to check this place out.

Location: Saint-Germain-des-Préssocial

le vin coeur

Speaking of taking in the Parisian lifestyle. This chic little cafe, le vin coeur, has the best view of champs d’elysees. If you’re into wine this is your place (really every place in Paris is but these guys know their stuff)
