4 Wellness trends to try this fall
Meditation: I find that one of the best and easiest ways to relax is by giving myself at least 5-10 minutes of meditation. I sometimes think people tend to over think what meditation is and personally the point of it is to ensure that you walk out feeling better than you did when you first laid down. Meditation isn’t completely turning off your thoughts that’s impossible. It comes down to letting your thoughts just flow not holding. Also, I find that doing what you love can be a form of meditation.
Ditch the make-up: Your skin will thank you and you’ll thank me later. Hash tag no make-up movement. Remember the days you’ll scroll through Instagram and find a woman posted a proud no make-up selfie? I miss those days! I mean don’t get me wrong I don’t think we should be shocked that a woman with no make-up on is still beautiful but there was something so empowering about people owning it and just wanting a little “like” I am so here for that. Not only should you give your skin a breather but you’re doing yourself a favourer for the long run. The older we get the more we need to really think about what we put on our skin. As great as make up is it’s not always the best to have it on 24/7.
Dry Brushing: This will help with flushing out toxins and exfoliating your skin. For more on how to dry brush click here.
Boost your immune system: A another fall trend that I’ve seen a lot lately is the Fulvic acid which helps cells absorb nutrients and vitamins. You can read more of this here. And of course, don’t forget to drink water!
